We’re on our way. Weather window opened perfectly.
Very windy yesterday. Forecasts reassured us that things would calm down for our morning departure. We finished provisioning then headed to Satisfied Frog for dinner with wind still gusting. To our surprise it started raining during dinner and winds went flat after the rain.
Brad and Kim joined Lynnie and Jeffrey and us for dinner.
Photo left – rain coming down as wave crash in.
Winds laid down 4 hour earlier that predicted.. Perfect.

Up before the alarm. Dead calm night in the marina. Extreme low tide as we exit the harbor took close attention but only got down to 4’ in depth. Haven’t seen it that low in some time. Exiting the harbor there’s 2 foot rollers at 4 second (not bad). Favorable light north wind pushing us at 6.5 knots with new motors humming right along.
Crew is doing great. Let the adventure begin..
Until the next update.
Penasco on our steer as we depart.. San Felipe here we come.
Have a great week! See you next Saturday
