Beautiful sail to Juncalito. Since it was so close, we sailed north near the Marquer anchorage on Isla Carmen and then spent the afternoon broad reaching between Carmen and the Baja coast at 7kts with a fishing line out hoping catch something. JollyDogs soon joined us as you see in the photos above. Two cat side by side and it’s a race. Fun afternoon.
It’s our first time anchoring here. Lots of palapa homes on the beach and we have the anchorage to ourselves. Coni and Elvin have lived here for 15 years in this cool place with huge palapa over a nice 5th wheel. The place is setup for out door living and upstairs deck giving a view of the entire beach. The view to the east through their palapa is awesome.
Today we have a birthday boy. Barry on WindGlider got a birthday song from the gang and we were treated to cheese cake. Yum.. Happy Birthday Barry.
Barry & Sue’s dog Riley getting lots of lovin from Ellen & Frankie.
We all want to Thank Coni and Elvin for opening their home to some crazy drunken sailors. They’ve volunteered to do it again next year. Yea!
Nice evening with another 1942 nightcap..
all good for us Rally folks.
Until the next Update
Telcel has been down here in Loreto so we’re little be late in getting something out
