Good Morning from Puerto Escondido!  We say goodbye to Jerry and Peggy today.  This trip has been amazing.  Our Captain couldn’t have done a better job getting us through all the anchorages.

Bill has been entertaining this trip.  He battled with killer bees.  He was out of control with the fly swatter.  On a softer side of Bill, he made a new friend and named her Mothia.

At Vee Cove we had fun snorkling.  Our dingy started out to sea without us so Bill sprinted, swam and saved the day and the dingy.

The sea was good to us on our cruise from the Vee Cove to Agua Verde.  We saw Whales, Manta’s, sea lions and dolphins.  The whales and dolphins stayed with us for a long time showing off their fun side.  Jerry finally caught a fish but it was a Bonita so he released it back to the sea.

“Mother, Mother Ocean”~ Thank you for an experience of a lifetime

We enjoyed Happy Hour at Puerto Escondido until a not so great sailor ran into the Gata Loco.  Here goes Bill again in full sprint to the dingy for a citizens arrest.  No damage to the Gato Loco so Bill let them off the hook.  Nice anchorage again with another round of Okinawa, our favorite card game.   We say good-bye to Our SeaStars and the creatures that we found in the Sea of Cortez…Amazing sailing trip with the Wish List completed ….

This was probably one of the most memorable trips I have ever been on. It was more than I even dreamed. Everyday was a better experience than the last. Bill is an amazing captain and the whole boat had so much fun. I checked off a bucket list item for sure!!! Yes, Gill, those were Carol’s pictures. She is super good with her camera. Also, ours went into the water when Randy missed getting into the dingy. 🙁 Camera DONE! Pictures GONE. Sad. Fun trip anyway!!!! 🙂 Thanks for the memories to all the shared their sail boat with us!!

Welcome back Jane. There was no doubt you were going to have super memorable trip. I need to hear some details. Not sure what anchorages you were in?? What were the sleeping arrangements?? Did you get your hair wet in the Sea?? For your camera, did you try to get your photos off the memory card?? Details…. 😀

First night we stayed on Coronado….great snorkeling……and YES, I got my hair wet, Lowell. REALLY wet! I swam, snorkeled…..don’t like that breathing thing though. 🙂 Next night we stayed at San Juanico. So fun!! We have a buried treasure for the next group. We also added our treasure to the tree. Great time. Next night was Vee Cove……snorkeled again. Next night was Yellowstone. swam and snorkeled but tons of bees!! Carol got stung on her leg. After the sun set they left us alone and we headed out early the next day. Next night Agua Verde. Got a few vegetables and a few other things from their 2 stores. Next day we were off to Honeymoon Beach. Got there but again, bees. We said “not again” so headed to Puerto Escondido. We slept in the front bedroom on the kitchen side. Sometimes Randy went to the back bedroom. Jerry and Peggy slept in the kitchen table area. One night J, P, R and I slept on the tramp area. Nice cool, not humid night. Everything was PERFECT!!!!! We had some amazing food too!! Off to Jenny Craig. HA!!

Forgot 1 thing. Randy and I stayed at Deborah’s La Damiana’s Saturday. What a lovely place. Loved Deborah!!! Her last name is Simmons and that is my maiden name. She has the most beautiful place to stay. We got the cottage out in the back. Loved that place!!!!! Everyone needs to stay there to experience a little of Mexico. She enjoyed a glass of wine with us and Bill and Carol. Nice evening.
