In the Colorado Mountains
Hello from the Rocky Mountain National Park just above Estes Park Colorado. We’ve been on the move since the last update. We arrived in Denver at my cousin Jamie and Jeff’s mid afternoon last Sunday with clouds and finally rain near sunset allowing us to soak up some cold weather as we make our way towards what seems like inferno Phoenix weather in the coming week. Jamie and Jeff were gracious to allow us to park in their driveway for two nights. Having never meet Jeff, it was great to spend time with both of them. They have a lush home SE of down town near the University of Denver with a great back yard for entertaining. Neely really liked it. They gave us a tour of the neighborhood hitting local restaurants along the way. Jack and Jamie> <Jeff, Jamie, & us. . . Tuesday we cruised north to Fort Collins for lunch and then back to Loveland <Sonny, Kelly & Nick Riverview RV park turned out to be very nice with our campsite right on the river. Camp came complete with squirrels t . . . Today we motored up Big Thompson Canyon to Estes Park for lunch and some shopping. The falls picture .
. . . Estes Park sets lake side with a big shopping area and this cool old theater on the small river that flows through the downtown area. This afternoon we landed in a campground near the entrance to the park. In the picture below the pole Thursday morning… Rain again this morning and low of 50. We’re off to drive over the pass in the Rocky Mountain Park and then down to Gunnison Until the next Update
