Baja 2010, Neely’s 3rd Update.
Sorry I haven’t sent a update sooner but I’ve been on land for a couple of days. yahoo!!!! If you could see me I am jumping for joy and my tail is wagging!!!!!! ALOT!!!!! My parents along with Bruce and Cynthia (our new crew friends), after seeing Bob and Chris at the bus station, went off several times in town (Santa Rosalia) to shop for food and just plain looking around.
In town, it’s nice cuz everyone that sees me makes over me and says how pretty I am. Of course my mom calls me “Miss Princess” anyway. When we go to a restaurant my parents ask about me being there but they always let me come in . I go lay down and mom has a bowl of water for me. It is so much better not having to be tied to something out front.
As we were leaving Santa Rosalia marina the ferry was coming in and as we approached my mom was waving while I sat beside her and the nice Captain of the ferry from last year that liked me ,gave my parents and I first class air condition cabin was waving back at us (he remembered me). He yelled when are you coming back? Mom yelled back un ano!!! But the captain and mom keep waving until the boat was out of sight. that Captain really liked me!!!!!!!
I saw hundreds and hundreds of dolphins all day long as we sailed away from the marina. I stood watch most of the day sometime moaning and talking to the sea life. It is so much fun running back and forth across the front of the boat watching and hoping for anything to appear!!!!!
My daily routine is waking up with my mom cuz everyone else sleeps down below in cabins and we sleep under the stars. The first thing my mom does is rubs my face, eyes, massages my paws (one of my favorite things) and lots of kisses. Then she feeds me, gives me treats , my dad gives me treats also and then off on the dinghy (which I love) to go to shore. I am really ready for several reasons but mostly just to run, play and swim,, oh of course the other stuff that I will not mention. Then it’s back on board to start watching for sea life. My pawfect time is being up front and looking for dolphins or anything that moves in the water. My mom is always saying all the time “Did you see anything out there?” So far I am having a lot of dog gone pawfect days!!!!!!
