Wednesday April 28

 Great video yet to come…..

April 28th was the best day I’ve had on Gato Loco!!!! It started by the guys fueling at the fuel dock and my mom and I spotted two sea lions playing right in front of us so I just sat there and watched. Pawfect!!!!!!!

As we were coming out of Santa Rosalia marina (thats the town where my parents and I took the ferry the last two years to get home but thank goodness I don’t have to this time!!! Thanks Bruce and Cynthia! Well back to the story. Heading out of the marina my mom points up ahead and says I think I see a whale.

Everyone runs to get their cameras and head up to the front of the boat and by that time we were surrounded by pilot whales and gray fin whales blowing. As everyone was pointing, shouting over there and OMGIMG 3119 I got soooooo excited running back and forth across the tramp, going to the front and then running to the back of the boat with my tail wagging I got in such a state that I was even howling and moaning to the whales. I have never done that before!!!!!

IMG 3102My dad said about 20 pilot whales,15 gray fin whales and lots and lots of dolfins were all around us by then. It was a sea life frenzy, it was almost an overload for me, like being surrounded by CATS!!!! Cholla (my friends knows what I am talking about).

.

Being on Gato Loco with my parents and friends is a great experience but today was the best DOGGONE day ever!!!!!!

Woofalicious and Pawfect!!!!!!

Neely, thank you for your update, I can see why you were so excited! So happy to be able to share quarters with you and more than happy to get you back to Penasco at the end of our trail. See you on board.

    Hi Neely

Wow, all that in one day. You are one lucky puppy. I wish I was there too. Sea Lions are such fun. I bet they went back and told their Moms and Dads that they made a new friend that was talking to them. It was you, honey. Your
update is so well done. So barkable. What do you have for dinner on the cool boat. My name is Pierre and I am a 13 week old puppy. I have white curly fur and I am a Maltese puppy. We are friends through my Aunt Sally Dalton and
    I live n Mesa, AZ.

    Hi Neely:

My name is Pierre and I am a 13 week old Maltese puppy, more like a handful of white curly fur. We are friends
through my Aunt Sally Dalton, but she hasn’t seen me yet. We hope she comes pretty soon. You are sooo lucky, I just would love to see Sea lions playing in the water. You have nice whales too. What do they serve you for dinner
on the boat. It it people food sometimes? I got my first bite yesterday, they call it chicken, and I loved it. My Mom and I love your updates and we would love to be there. Pierre Crouse

That’s awesome Neely! What a life you have. We got to spend last weekend in Rocky Point on the beach and see dolfins. I got on a jet ski and went out for a closer look and they were swimming all around me. My dog Cherokee was left on the beach and wanted to swim out with me. Enjoy your time on the water old girl.
    Love ya,
    Carla and Cherokee.
