Baja 2010 – The first Neely Update
My parents took me to the vet to have a check up and had a senior blood work done. I knew something was going to happen soon. My mom and dad have been packing for days and I did note that a big bag of treats and food are packed along with alot of other stuff. I am a 10 1/2 yrs golden with arthritis discomfort and it was a year in December that I had ACL surgery but I do like to do things with my mom and dad so I guess we are off again on another adventure. My dad and mom loaded me up in the car towing our trailer with bags and containers of stuff towards our house in Mexico. That means Cholla (my friend) and I will probably go for rides on Blanca, walks in the morning with Cholla, Buddy, Big E, and Houlie and just hang out in the neighborhood.
My mom keeps telling me that we are going sailing. My dad, mom and other friends have been working on Gato Loco getting it ready to sail leaving me behind to rest and sleep all day but eager for them to come home to feed and walk us.
I am excited to get on board for all the dingy rides, watching for sea life, walks on the beach, rubs behind the ears and just all the attention everyone gives me.
When we arrived at the marina I really couldn’t wait to get on board. I meet two new sailing mates and it nice cuz they give me rubs! We all got settled in for the night and it starting raining and raining and raining.
Good thing my dad put together the bed where my mom and I sleep. It was great!!! We stayed dry inside but outside was really wet!!!!
Well we are off and its been a good dog day!!!!! I am a pretty lucky dog but I guess I am just starting my trip.
Until the next doggy update
My tails is a wagging!!!!!!!

Hi Neeley:
I love reading about your adventures and I love the pictures of you. You are just a beautiful doggie and I can tell your Mom and Dad just adore you as they should. Your are one lucky puppy to go sailing on a trip like that and every
year beside. I wish I were there too.

Hi Neely,
All is well in Cholla Bay. Sounds like you are having a doggone good time. I miss paw-a-pawing with you for the morning poop and sniff time. You should have all 4 of your sea legs by now. Sniff ya soon,
Buddy
