Leg 5–Back in Mulege :)
Wednesday May 18th
Great winds as we arrive in Mulege. Long day beating to north winds and 3’ swells but as turn the corner and head into Mulege life if good. We’re going to make it in time to get safely anchored in the river and head to El Patron on the north shore for dinner.

Murril is intrigued with our funky little beach restaurant. We had dinner with the owners kids playing around our table.
Thursday May 19th
Restful night until the fishing boats start heading out at sunrise. Most boats ease past us but a few rock us with their wake. Today to tourist day since Murril hasn’t been here before. Breakfast at the Serenided and we get Francisco again for our taxi driver. A tour of the river front then on to the old mission. My crews will relate as I forgot to get my sim card out of the computer so I using Murril’s GoPro for our tour shots.
Mision Santa Rosalia de Mulege (1780)
Francisco is enjoy the tour and joins us at the prison taking the picture right with our cute young tour guide. The prison museum is now open most days.
A stop at Hotel Los Casitas for refreshments then on to our regular lunch stop. The restaurant owner joins us in a group photo as we leave. He’s got on his signature white slacks and shoes. Good food as usual. Francisco is setting at the bar waiting as we finish. We’re off to the mercado for wine and drinking Ice then he takes us out to the block ice plant another mile up river before delivering us to the boat dock where our dinghy is waiting. Francisco helps load things and we’re off. He’s been a big help making it a very pleasant day in Muullleeggee.
We’re off to Santispac in Conception Bay for tonight.
Until the Next Update
Great Pictures! Glad you boys enjoyed Mulege. Have fun in Santispac!!!
