Anchored at Isla Coronado
 Tuesday May 6th & we’re setting isla Coronado relaxing after a night of wind. It was quiet for dinner and then winds started and blow until early morning. Anchor held well just a little bumpy while sleeping.
Puerto Escondido Singlar marina operation to the right>> Monday morning we arranged to leave Pee Wee (RV) at the local family house and set sail on Gato Loco. Morning winds light so we motored north up the coast of isla Carmen stopping at Puerto Ballandra for lunch and some swimming. This is Richard and Kerry’s first time to see the desert vegatation up close. It’s much different than in Austrailia giving them interesting vistas.

Arriving at the SW sand spit of isla Coronado we dropped anchor with the wind at 15 out of the SW. 6 other boats set in the large anchorage at sunset.

Everybody in the water including Neely. Neely even jumped from the back steps with me for a swim around the boat. She will be a true sailing dog after these coming weeks.

Gato Loco was having problems with the autohelm compass on the way to Loreto. Today we finally located the problem with the help of our friend Kurt Jerman in San Diego who told us were to find the compass. Once we located it there was an electric fan a little too close causing magnietic interferrence. Bill & Lowell make final calabrations (right) Autohelm working, Life is good.
