Awesome, the northeast winds we\u2019ve had the past 2 days return on  our way <\/p>\n

south from Mulege. Our first thoughts was to head for San Sebastian but by 10 AM we have  engines off and sailing downwind at 7kts. Time to set our sites on an anchorage further south. San Juanico here we come.<\/p>\n

Lynnie is enjoying the show as we pass Punta Pulpito. Rays are jumping all around us. Sometimes you see 4 or 5 in the air at a time. We tried to get photos but nothing worth posting. It must have been national jumping day. Lynnie\u2019s screams probably encouraged them.  <\/p>\n

Arriving in San Juanico there\u2019s 7 boats all facing southeast as we head in the anchorage. Winds have clocked from NE to the SE by the time we made the Anchorage. San Jaunico is one of the most picturesque anchorage and I\u2019ve well documented in past blogs so I\u2019ll keep the blog short. The homes overlooking the anchorage are looking freshly painted and well maintained. We squeeze us in behind the pinnacles for protection the swells now coming in for the SE. Winds always switch to the west at night so these swells will lay down later tonight. You can see our protection in my photo below behind me and in the black and white photo.. Friday April 29th<\/p>\n

For those who have followed our blog know this is the anchorage with the cruiser tree where you make an offering to the cruising Gods for safe passage. This is the year of the \u201cMoscow Mule\u201d drink and the ginger beer we\u2019re drinking the \u201cCock n Bull\u201d. Our offering is a Cock n Bull message missing Bill. Looking around I see the Flippin out from 2012 that Bill crafted and a float that Doug and I offered heading south that year. The offering is important as last night we touched bottom during low tide and had to re-anchor in the middle of the night in deeper water. The offering should  take care of this problem for the remaining of the cruise.<\/p>\n

All good on Gato Loco. Heading to Loreto today.<\/p>\n
