The final photo from San Juanico as we prepare to head north to Mulege.<\/p>\n

I guess I have to start this update with the fishing report. Light winds out of the east as we head north towards Punta Pulpito where fishing is good. Approaching we motor close the massive Pulpito head wall. Nothing\u2026 Motoring away things look dime but all the sudden BAM all 3 lines out start singing. Motors back and there\u2019s some work to do. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Good job for the crew landing 2 out of 3 fish. We have two nice leopard groupers and we\u2019re set for fish dinners for the rest of the cruise. In short order, Marcia and Ed have them dressed out and in the frig. Ed, Marcia and Dave are all jazzed and gitty about the catch.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Yes ladies, Marcia is filleting the fish while Ed holds them for her,<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mulege<\/p>\n Winds finally built in the afternoon pushing us into Mulege 4ish. It\u2019s high tide so there\u2019s plenty of water under Gato Loco as we cross the shoal in front of the river channel entrance. It\u2019s Ed and Marcia\u2019s first visit and they\u2019ve heard a lot about Mulege. Our favorite taxi driver Nacho picks us up for a visit to Mulege. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Yet another tour of Mulege and they\u2019re loving one of our favorite little Baja towns. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Saturday June 1st<\/p>\n Soggy night. We wake up with a fog bank rolling out of Conception Bay and the boat is covered with morning dew.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We\u2019re heading down into Conception today to the Coyote Bay area. Mid morning winds kick up and we\u2019re having a great sail into Coyote. <\/p>\n John Terffy, Ed says this shark is for you. We caught it in about the same spot as 2 years ago. Weather is warmer and water clarity isn\u2019t the greatest. We first anchor at Playa Burro and then on to the island of Coyote for some snorkeling and paddle boarding. Water here is a pale green with the lack water clarity.<\/p>\n \n \n \n \n \n \n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Marcia caught me relaxing under the boat after a paddle around the island.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Final anchorage for the night is Playa Santispac where we can have dinner on shore at Armando\u2019s.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dinner on shore.
