Happy Birthday Xochitl’s!!!! We love you Sally and are wishing we were all there helping you celebrate 15 years of business!<\/p>\n

With the alarm going off for us to weigh anchor at 3AM, we were blessed by the wind gods and after motoring out of Mulege, we shut off the motors and are sailing!!!! And yes, we were all moving a little slowly this morning, maybe more than a little…With such great wind we are pulling into San Carlos 2 1\/2 hours early! Carl had a HUGE dorado on the line that unfortunately came off as we went through a ponga’s fish nets! \"IMG<\/p>\n

The ponga caught up with and brought back the lure that they were able to save. Kinda weird to think that fishermen saved the fish from the fishermen to live another day….<\/p>\n

As we neared San Carlos, Alisa and Heather were treated to a large Manta Ray jumping up right in front of us and doing a back flip, amazing!!!<\/p>\n

None of us are quite ready to end our voyage and their have been requests for Captain Bill to turn the boat around, we are not ready for port. We have had an amazing time aboard Gato Loco and would like to thank everyone who has made it possible for the 7 of us to go sailing for 8 days!!! Con mucho amor!<\/p>\n
