Saturday May 4th<\/p>\n

(Part 1 of our first photo blog was lost in Bay of LA cyber space and didn\u2019t get published at that time)<\/p>\n

We\u2019re heading to Bay of LA today and time to use their\u00a0 internet to get a blog out. We sent a satellite blog on our crossing Penasco to the Gonzaga area. Check it out if you haven\u2019t seen it. Below is a photo of the special treat we had on our crossing as a huge pod of hundreds of dolphins chased us down. Norman says 1500 dolphins \"Smile\"There was lots of action on the bow at the front but the sea conditions didn\u2019t allow us to go forward.<\/p>\n

The Wednesday crossing smoothed out as we approached Baja and the ladies could finally relax and enjoy some whale watching.<\/p>\n

We spotted 6 fin whales about 15 miles out from Isla Pomo but we never got close enough to get a photo.<\/p>\n

Thursday May 2nd<\/p>\n

We\u2019re back to Isla Pomo to explore. Below Gato Loco sets in the anchorage we hoped to use last night. Things are much calmer today allowing us to do some sea cave exploring.<\/p>\n

Thursday night\u2019s anchorage in front of the Alfonsina\u2019s resort.<\/p>\n

The resort is full of Harley riders who kept the bartender busy. As you can see the tides are still pretty strong here and there are 3 boats beached as we wake on Friday morning.<\/p>\n
