4th, Thurs 8:30, sunny skies, Bill's B-day, winds out of the N
at 7 as we motor
sail north out of Conception Bay... Did I say Bill's B-day? It's
truly a double nickel day for him.
What
have we been up to?? 
We spent last Tuesday night
anchored in Mulege and took Vicki in for a quick tour of the village
making
the mandatory stops at Hotel Seriendad to get a Cab, local Mex
restaurant for Margs, I-Cafe, prison museum and mercado before heading
back to Gato
Loco for sunset. Finished the night with dinner at El Patron on
the beach near our anchorage.

We headed for Conception
Bay very early Wed to clear the Mulege channel reef. Weather cool, damp
with
low
clouds and light winds from the N allowing us to sail quietly into Conception.
Another short leg today allowing lot of "on mexican time",
snorkeling, exploring islands and beaches.
Winds back up to 18 in the afternoon
 
Of course we had to have dinner at Ray's
on SantaPac beach last night. Dinner was exceptional as always. On the
photo of dinner above at 12 oclock is Vicki's bacan wrapped shrimp,
at 3 is Bill breaded Fish, at 6 is Lowell's breaded
scallops & at 10 is Frankie's Coco shrimp and with sauces to die for....
Plus Kahlua rice pudding (Chris & Beth your drooling)...

50 mile day today, hopefully anchoring in San Jaunaico Bay.
