Gato Loco Sailing - The San Carlos Cruise.

Feb 26 – Mar 6,   2005

Mar 2

Ensenada Posomoreno

Leaving Kino winds did the typical mid-day appearance from the west at 12. Dual head sails at  1st then spinnaker until 5 when wind disappeared. We were thinking we would get more winds like yesterday but it did make it an easy day. No sea life today probably because we were in shallow water most of the day off Pta Baja (20-30’). Anchored in Ensenada Posomoreno in front of fishing camp and 2 American homes. Anchorage about 35 miles north of San Carlos. Saw our 1st sailboats we entered the anchorage area.

Frankie’s quick collection.

Until the next update… The Gato Loco Crew

Went for a great hike this morning. Desert colorful from the rain and beaches full of shells. Frankie’s hand shows a good sample.

Tomorrow March 4th is Dave’s wife Ellen’s birthday. We’ve been thinking of her a lot and how unselfish she was to let Dave go on this cruise. See her special shell message at the bottom. If you want to wish her a happy birthday click here dredden@cox.net.

Speaking of emails, the crew enjoys receiving emails and we haven’t gotten any in the last two days. We would like to hear from you..

I miss you and Eric a lot, can’t wait to see you Saturday.  Love Dave.
