Jalisco Adventure ......(Feb 27 - Mar 4)

Jalisco is very important Mexico state where cities Puerta Vallarta, Tequila and Guadalajara set amongst tropical mountains and volcanic high deserts. Cholla Bay friends, Brian & Heather needed to sign business papers in Guadalajara SO.. Mike, Bill, Frankie and Lowell decided to tag along for a Jalisco Driving Adventure.
The Itinerary was Monday Vallarta, Tuesday pickup Mike and Bill at the airport and drive to Tequila, Wednesday drive to Guadalajara, Thursday back to Vallarta, Friday Brian and Heather headed home and the rest of us flew home late Sat. A busy trip that gave us a preview of areas that we want to explore in more detail and soon!
To get there we all flew Phoenix to Puerta Vallarta. Mike knows the Vallarta area well and kept us on the move showing us his favorite spots and activities. We decided to not make any hotel reservations and wing it so we could find out-of-the-way jewels. Excluding some beds that were as "hard as a rock" our hotel experience was excellent (see hotel & restaurant info at the end of the log).

Pictures on this page highlight some of the Vallarta area fun.

Tarzan on the Canopy tour.. We did 13 canopy zip lines over a beautiful river canyon.
