THE SAILORS AND THEIR DANCING GIRLS
Welcome to the 3rd leg of the GATO LOCO. We said goodbye to Frankie and Lowell at Sophia’s Restaurant.
Light breeze motor sailing takes us to Coronado and San Juanico for a fun night of wine and dancing. Here we left our gift for safe travel for all sailors. Our gift was an empty wine bottle with a message inside. It’s hard to explain the bonds and friendships that are formed on the Gata Loco. We encourage all future crews to leave a dated message to share the love.
Our campfire was wonderful. Bill searched out our firewood for the evening. When it was time to return to the Gato Loco and we had extra firewood, Bill decided to save the leftover wood for the next leg. We had to dig deep for those 2 pieces of wood. Good Luck finding it all you sailors on the next leg.
Yes, yes, yes, El Capitan, Bill finally found the dolphins, lots and lots of dolphins. Jane finally got her wish.
Of course, something would be wrong if we didn’t sign off with some pictures of a little bit of dancing. We all say hi and love you to our families on land. We are having an amazing time and no sea sickness on board. Until next blog….Bill, Carol, Randy, Jane, Jerry and Peg. OX
